CORLISS WONG

Language Dualism Project Lead

Corliss is an avid researcher of all things related to pedagogy, especially where culture is concerned. Her first published article, entitled ‘Globalisation and Language in Medical Education’, outlines the unique linguistic difficulties faced by Hong Kong medical students. She is currently in the process of completing an intercalated BSc in Medical Education at QMUL. Her dissertation explores the potential impact of a technology-assisted student feedback tool in the context of neoliberal British medical education. Several other articles are in the works, including one on cultivating critically reflexive medical professionals and another on paradigms within medical education research. Her greatest aim is to transform the local medical education system one day, by ensuring the pedagogy is both time and culturally sensitive. Anyone interested in these areas of research are more than welcome to get in touch!
